Paul update via David: David just left hospital, Paul still sleeping. He talked to doc again as I did 3hrs ago, tubes are working...he has 2 in his back one for each kidney, and 2 bags attached to the tubes for direct drainage from the kidneys and a catheter bag for anything that makes it to and thru the bladder. The contents of the 2 kidney bags are still pretty scary looking...and this arrangement is going to most likely be with him ongoing. He is looking better as there was a whole lot of fluids trapped internally before this procedure. This is still a very precarious situation that we and the docs will take day by day. Paul still has a very severe infection throughout his body in addition to other medical challenges and issues.I am not going to go back this evening as Paul is still zonked! Please continue to pray for Paul and Max who inspite of 3 xanex a day is still flipping out when left alone. I will be talking to the Vet in the morning and visiting Paul after..lol. I am now going to have my tea and Jack Daniels! Go GIANTS!
