The Monster pictured below is one of those people! A pet store owner in Las Vegas, Nev., is accused of intentionally setting fire to her business while dozens of dogs were still inside, reported Mondays News 3. Fire investigators arrested 35-year-old Gloria Lee for allegedly setting fire to the Prince and Princess Puppy Boutique early last week. Thanks to the prompt response from fire officials and a sprinkler system, all 28 dogs, who were inside of the pet store at the time that the blaze erupted, were rescued. Clark County spokesman John Steinbeck told the Las Vegas Sun: Fortunately, the quick response and actions taken by our firefighters, the activation of three sprinkler heads and the unusual design of the kennels prevented this from being very tragic, The potential was there for all of these dogs to have died in the fire. Lee is facing felony charges of arson and conspiracy to commit arson; on Monday morning, she was scheduled for arraignment. My Name is Joshua. I Died At The Hands Of An Animal Abuser. I died in below freezing temperatures and weighed 5 pounds at the time of my death, I died with only 2 leaves in my stomach! Paw Protectors Rescue posted the video last week of Joshuas Story and here is the Update. The Monster has been arrested that allowed Joshua to die and 2 other dogs to slowly starve and freeze, the 2 other dogs survived and have been taken by Animal Control. Joshua’s abuser has been charged. Her name is Brittany Danielle Coble. Coble, a 22-year-old woman, now faced with a pair of animal cruelty charges after an investigation by the Lexington Police Department and The Ginger’s Fund. Brittany D. Coble of 199 Hillcrest Court was arrested Wednesday under the charges of felony cruelty to animals and misdemeanor cruelty to animals. She was given a $5,000 unsecured bond and court date of Feb. 27. Officer Sam Fritts located 1 dog who had died because of the abuse (who we now call Joshua) and two dogs that were extremely emaciated and needed medical attention, according to the report. The dogs were seized by the Police Department who in turn signed them over to Ginger’s Fund, operated by Friends of the Shelter Davidson County North Carolina. An arrest warrant alleged Coble failed to feed a dog and house it out of cold weather, in addition to not providing medical attention. A second warrant stated Coble deprived the necessary sustenance for a mix beagle and miniature pinscher. I spoke with Donna Grooms, Executive Director with the Ginger’s Fund. Grooms stated “ I actually had no doubt that there would be a felony charge for the death of “Little Joshua”. I’m pleased that the Lexington Police Department and Animal Control Officer “Sam Fritts” do not take animal abuse/cruelty/neglect lightly. “ You can donate to the Ginger’s Fund in two ways.
