Pax River! For aviators, specifically of the naval flavor, those words run a close second to Pensacola for reverence. Home to Navy Test Pilot School and a handful of other commands, even with all that technical engineerin bidness that goes along with testing aircraft or aircraft pieces and parts (something yours truly, being the math rock he always was, never aspired to) it is still one of the High Holy places of aviation. Here for a few days of Navy meetings (in the vernacular, an off-site Summit - conjuring up images of some great meeting of important behemoths atop some naval Mount Olympus, as if bringing together a few dozen people will automatically solve the cost, schedule and performance deltas). My head is usually mimicking a bobble head doll by about 2 pm, but such is the price we pay for solving the Navys problems.
