Pay rent or fix the car? We fixed the car, and just asked the landlord to wait a little while for the balance of our rent owing $725. We have been here 4 years --this is the first time we have even been late with any rent... Just got served with eviction notice. We have no money to pay that rent or move. I think we will be homeless. 5 more days til a paying job. I want to thank LISA HELPS and ALL THE MEMBERS OF CITY COUNCIL who used the force of the law to stop us from using our free speech (viz Ramsden vs Peterborough) by putting up posters asking rich people to let us come clean their toilets.... Ever since we stopped putting up posters -- we have lost an average of $2000 gross sales a month... and we have gone deeper and deeper into credit card debt to stay afloat. Now its the end - no more credit... We cant even make or miniminum monthly payments this month... We were slowly pulling ourselves out of debt when I was able to put up posters in the city of Victoria.... Now we are facing imminent homelessness.
