Peace, The Detroit Poetry/Artistic Community has been invited to participate in a fundraiser to support those harassed by the police during the struggle in Ferguson MO. There is a 24 hr webcast going down this Saturday Sept 27 and Detroit has been given 11:45-1:45a time slot. Figured we would make a night of it so it will be going down at 9226 Kercheval doors opening at 9pm.... The cost of the venue is being sponsored so that 100% of the funds donated go toward the legal fees of those on the front line......Before you ask ...The organization that the money is going to is called MORE--Missourians Organizing for Reform and Empowerment. Theyre also working alongside OBS--Organization for Black Struggle. A link to their website is below.
