Peace. When I was 11, I chose to write about Malcolm X for a school report. In the beginning of the book, theres a time line of Malcolms life. First thing that caught me..... May 19th, 1925. Malcolm Little was born.... I didnt know I shared a birthday with anyone, let alone someone who was a hero. So I stopped reading the timeline, and continued to read the entire book. Feb 21st, 1965....... Reading about him being set up and inevitably killed.......it really broke my heart. Then watching Spike Lees rendition really brought it home for me. I learned much later about Al-Islam, and how influential MOORISH SCIENCE has bee to the entire world. Were taught to maintain, and spread knowledge to those who may not quite understand or even have it to begin with. When I see brothers still to this day acting like the step n fetch coons that murdered Malcolm, it truly pains me that taking up arms enters my mind when I see them, but hurts even more knowing that one of those misguided misinformed brothers would quickly defend his slave master and pick up arms against me. Same ones I handed him. And I know Im not the only person ever born on this day. I know many revolutionary brothers (J LO Ynn, Bomani Ikemba Mayasa, Tyrone Vdubboogie Canty, Anthony Mitchell, Anthony Rivera, the whole CLAW gang, Rashied Bey, AJose Molina, ElDivine Ali-Bey, Mayhugh Davis, just to name a few), but for me, to be born on this day begs a little responsibility, especially when you know your story. NOT HIS STORY! PEACE.........
