Peace has set in; the boys have gone to their usual Tuesday night training. I have approximately 3 hours to myself; I can get dinner, washing, folding, book work & online shopping done in an hour, which leaves me with 2 hours...but what to cook?? Coming up with new meals must include some form of protein & good carbs.....& one bad ‘white’ one – not so bad for a teenager that burns a lot of energy though. Sometimes I stew over it for hours, I think about it while at work, while driving, ask friends, text friends, talk to mum – ‘Juz puta orice (rice) with da chicken inda ‘tepsia’ (pan), put inda’ fornata’ (oven) and sit down.
