Peaceful, quiet, & happy tonight. We got to show off our lil bitty home. I hope the progress outwieghed the shoddy work done by an amatuer (me). It was nice to have family come to see our home now as opposed to coming to visit 2 months ago. It is a small home, but ours. I am proud of how far we have come in such little time & on a very small budget. It is a good thing my imagination is in high gear. Hard to believe I had no earthly idea what I was doing,( kind of like my life.) All I needed to do was step back & focus with a clear mind. We arent rich, or even middle class - but we are never hungry, not cold/freezing, not filthy, & not in the dark or without water. We are blessed to have each other. I know that I am not even CLOSE to being at least 10% perfect - but I feel that is a blessing. I always work to improve while improving. I am okay with never being perfect... it would mean I missed something valuable along the way & unable to be discover new things to be proud of. I felt embarrased for a moment today, but I stepped back to realize that John Lastinger & I both know how far we have come together. There is no one else I would rather work this hard with than my husband :) For all this I am Thankful
