Peak Performers is seeking a Developer Analyst for a position in Austin, Texas. The Developer Analyst will perform complex computer systems analysis work and will be responsible for generating reports in Microsoft SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS); collaborate with business areas and end users to determine layout and data requirements for reports; perform analysis of user requirements and procedures to remediate data and develop data-related reports and demonstrate superior technical ability to create informative and aesthetically pleasing reports in SSRS using SQL queries, stored procedures, parameters, grouping and sub-reports. Essential Job Functions • Designs, develops, and maintains SSRS reports • Analyzes and develops complex Microsoft SQL Server queries, views, and/or stored procedures • Demonstrates verbal and non-verbal communication skills to gather and document business requirements from business areas and end users • Works closely and amicably with business areas and end users in multi-disciplinary teams. • Develops systems requirements specifications using some combination of interviews, document analysis, requirements workshops, storyboards, surveys, business process descriptions, use cases, scenarios, business analysis, and/or task and workflow analysis • Converts systems requirements into functional design documents to develop SSRS reports • Performs data analysis and data querying • Coordinates testing and deployment of SSRS reports • Troubleshoots and solves problems related to SSRS reports Minimum Requirements: • Bachelor’s degree (transcript required). Applicable experience may be substituted on a year-for-year basis • 5 years of experience designing and developing reports using Microsoft SQL Server Reporting Services, Microsoft SQL Server Management Studio and Business Intelligence Development Studio • 5 years of experience with relational databases and the software development lifecycle • 4 years of experience with Object-Oriented Analysis, Design and implementation skills • 3 years of experience with Windows Server 2003/2008, Microsoft Internet Information Services 7.0+ • 3 years of experience working in an application team environment consisting of Project Manager, Systems Analyst, Database Administrator and Programmers Preferred: • Experience with financial computer applications • Familiarity with water resources information • Experience with regional and state water planning in Texas Job Order Number: 0420T Post Date: 01/06/2015 Close Date: 01/09/2015 Assignment Dates: ASAP – 08/31/2015 Salary: $50.00 - $54.00 per hour DOE Location: Austin, TX Employment Type: Full-time, Contract
