Pema Chodron arrived at Gampo Abbey last Friday. Were about to begin a seven week intensive retreat called Yarne on January 4th and she leads it every year. I just seen these two photos from her arrival. It was a pretty happy time for all of us at the Abbey. In the first picture you can see the big smile on my face! And in the second photo, you cant see my face, but you can see her saying hello to me.
