Yesterday there was someone on here spewing hatred toward Jews, claiming theyre parasites and whatnot. This was particularly shocking for me as I was raised Jewish by my loving family. Hate like this is unacceptable on this forum. We, all of us, are here, because we found a love for the Romans and their religion and culture. If you really look back into history, the Romans were very accepting of MOST other religions. They learned to incorporate not just numerous peoples and their cultured into the Republic/Empire, but accommodate their religions as well. I love the Romans, The Republic, the gods, but also my Jewish heritage. We have built a place accepting everyone, regardless of their religious or ethnic background. We all come here to be accepted for who were truly are deep down. Whether we believe in the Roman Gods, or in the Judeo-Christian God, we cant let others put spew hate regardless of where it is directed. Let us all lead the charge against hate and intolerance not just here in the forum, but in life as well. May Jupiter smile on you all.
