Penn State Harrisburg does an AMAZING job at screwing over hard-working evening students!!! I am taking a required economics course this semester that requires me to leave work early twice a week because I have to (this has already caused meltdowns at my job and Im only 5 weeks in the semester). Thats fine. Im dealing with it. Now, for the spring semester, I either have to leave in the middle of the day from work to take a mandatory course (absolutely NOT an option when you work in a trading room) OR take other finance elective classes without their prerequisite because the prerequisites are not offered during the evening. Ummm...prerequisites are meant to prepare you for the upper level classes. WHY THE HELL would I want to subject myself to Financial Decision Making (FIN475) before taking Investment & Portfolio Analysis (FIN 420)? My friends and family think Im high strung as it is - I cant imagine the impact Im going to have on my immediate loved ones when I have to deal with this BS!!! I am at the end of my rope and every effort Ive made to work around the problem (literally weeks of wasted time, energy and stress) have been a complete letdown. I would cry right now but Ive already done so much of that in the past three weeks due to this scheduling nightmare that I have NO energy left to do so. Thank you Penn State Harrisburg for adding this much more unnecessary stress to my already hectic, demanding, crazy life.
