People...ALWAYS check your account balances daily! I just checked ours and there is a charge pending through Expedia for COPA airlines! It will probably post and after that I can file a credit card fraud claim. The charge on our debit card came from Las Vegas and they first tried to get a $900.00 airline ticket and since we didnt have that much in our checking account they then attempted a lesser amount which was approved. Although we wont be responsible for this charge, it certainly is in inconvenience. I have to wonder, who does this? Who tries to get a ticket - any ticket and to where? I hope Homeland Security monitors these disputed airline ticket holders. It might be a good idea to see who is purchasing, where they are going, why they dont have a problem with changing destinations just because their stolen card info. wont accommodate a more expensive ticket....did they purchase anything recently from Bombs R Us?....My head is swirling with questions. Oh well, I can sit and contemplate all this, but I have to run and transfer money into my account so that the legitimate charges dont end up costing me!!! Just a day in the life....
