People. They can destroy you. They can crush you with their words and choices. They can be your world one minute and your greatest pain the next. They can say all of the things that you want to hear one day and the next, forget every word. They can hurt you. People. They can be loyal and caring and compassionate. They can set aside their own struggles to help you walk through your own. They can sit, listen and cry with you as you try to express your heartbreak and disappointment. They can make you smile. They can make you laugh. They can reflect Christ and pray you through your heartache. They can help you remember why you dream and how to fulfill those dreams. Ive had a crash course in People 101 over the last two weeks. Im so grateful for the abundance of people who....in my life....fall into the latter category. Surround yourself with these types of people. Better yet, BE those type of people...and remember, You never know how fragile and hurt some people are. Be love and compassion....never judgement....never rebuke. Treat people the way you would want to be treated.... Always love.
