People are all upset over this ad but I dont see any problem with it at all. ONE COMMENT from an immigrant probably explains what everyone is upset about. From Aldridk Gessa, Owner at Gusta Catering: I am a naturalized citizen. I am also a Hispanic woman. I came to the US legally with my parents. With the exception of my dad (who already knew the language) my mom, sis and I all learned to speak English. I am proud about my Cuban culture and heritage- it will always be part of who I am. However, my heritage does not take precedent over being part of the American culture and society I chose to adopt. Celebrating culture helps people understand our diversity. However, promoting foreign cultures over or instead of the national culture and identity does not advocate unity, harmony or progress in ANY society.
