People are easy to forget the time and resources that you have poured into them, but God NEVER forgets! He hasnt forgotten how you obeyed Him by giving and ministering to the needs of others! Your obedience to God means so much more than the sacrifices that you have made for others! Yes, it is hurtful when you stretch yourself for others and they are simply ungrateful! People can put a bad taste in your mouth and make you not want to help anyone else! However, you MUST remember that EVERYTHING you do should be unto God! The Bible declares: And whatsoever ye do in word or deed, do all in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God and the Father by him(Colossians 3:17 KJV). When you do it unto God, you wont be hurt or disappointed when there is a lack of gratitude! After all, God is going to reward you for your obedience!
