People are funny. Ive not come across anyone who wouldnt want to know theyd always be able to pay their bills on time, have money for birthdays and Christmas, have a secure retirement, be able to give when the pastor calls for a special offering or when a friend or family member is need. People even want to be able to go on vacations and afford hobbies. Ive not met anyone who said they wouldnt gladly be able to live like that... Until they find out how. Theyre like, you mean I have to change my thinking and do something different? You mean I cant just learn some hidden secret or magically win a million dollars? You mean I have to work and improve myself? I have to change? Im not perfect in every way? How dare you?! Im offended. You mean it costs something? Are you telling me I have to give something to have what Ive always wanted? Its not free? What kind of crook are you? If you could be, have or do what youve always wanted youd already be there if you were on the right path. Since youre havent youre not. Stop being offended by the suggestion that something has to change for a change to happen. People are like Meatloaf when they get all excited by the notion they can have what theyve always wanted. They would do anything for (full in the blank) but they wont do that!!!!
