People are so damn judgmental. When will they learn that just because something is right for them doesnt mean its right for everyone? Im a full time mother and a graduate student. I do everything around the house and in my spare time, Im training so that I can achieve my dreams of being a performer, instructor and ultimately integrate flow with my social work training into a therapeutic tool so that I can help people! Im not sitting on the couch watching tv all day. Why is it that if the work and effort you put into something is enjoyable it is less valid? My son is happy, healthy and so lucky to have his mom with him all of the time. And Im lucky to be there for all of his firsts and enjoy his babyhood. They grow up entirely too fast. Not to mention I breastfeed and he will not take formula and I hardly respond to a breastpump. Tell me, should I give up breastfeeding which has already easily saved hundreds of dollars to make him suffer until he gives in and accepts formula he doesnt want just so we can pay to have him in daycare. The benefits just do not outweigh the cost of me getting a standard job at this point. And I am doing everything in my power to turn my passion into something that will make me money. I already have my first gig scheduled for New Years Eve making 300$ in 4 hours! Why would I not go after that instead of wasting my time at a job that does not help me progress towards my goals at all? All Im saying is it is absolute bullshit when people act like I do not contribute to my household. #endrant
