my 06 collection of vids is probably the smallest out of all the years from 2005-2014 (i may post some 2003/04 vids too that are just coming to light, which are even smaller). 2006 starts off with Tazs startling revelation that Aslan: The Great Lion and Mufasa are actually one in the same, then an intro convo featuring Dave, Mario + Shane, an automobile freestyle featuring Vinnie, me + Gop, extensive gig footage from the Common show @ Prince Bandroom, bits from the Good Vibes fest featuring Datarock, an acapella off-the-dome freestyle by Bahamadia, and possibly one of the last gigs ever played on Aussie soil by the red-sequinned James Brown (he died later that year in December & was aged 72 when he performed at Good Vibes as the headline act). we then head to Asia where i went on a trip to Hong Kong, Macau + Japan with Raff & Mika, then an impromptu street guitar performance on Fitzroy St. after Arazs mate borrowed a buskers acoustic (naturally a random has no problem approaching and asking me for a cig, standard), & finished off the year with one of my fav gigs evar: Roachford live @ the Corner Hotel. of course, some random stuff in between, but a solid year of travel and musicality.
