People can say anything to market themselves. Many alleged seers will say things that will appeal to the public just to make themselves revered. Why would God tell you your grandmother is a witch? Have you become a witch hunter? Why would he give information too much for you to handle. We do not know every little plot of the enemy, all we know is that God fights hidden battles for us while we struggle to stay away from sin. And that is enough to bring us victory. If you choose to know everything, can you also fight every battle? God cannot say things that will bring division, hes always for peace. Anyone who reveals anything to you that brings enmity does not work for God. It is safer since Christ had already forewarned about false prophets to pray and obey the Church rather than run up and down proving our own faithlessness. If we had faith, our communication with God will be clear, leading us to love him and fellow humans and obeying his Church. I pray that none of us will go astray.
