People celebrating Pujas and im like..oh, exam tomorrow!! -_- ok,heres something.. Strong women have always caught my fancy. Oh wait, ‘strong’ is not feminine enough! Listened to Emma’s UN speech; it just would not be me if I didn’t put my thoughts forward. ‘Feminist’ is a misleading word…it’s not about supporting women, but about treating men and women equally. People often forget that. Each idea Emma has put forward is of such importance..i wouldn’t be able to put them in a status. The point about men getting the freedom to be vulnerable and sensitive is probably a rarely highlighted area. Gender equality is not only about girls getting their freedom, but also about men realizing theirs. As said, if you don’t like the word ‘feminist’, it’s the associated idea that’s important. Because, if not me, then who? If not now, then when? #HeForShe #Shakti
