People claim that Hawaii has some pretty ignorant uneducated people. From the way they talk? So NOOOwhere else in the states you will find people like that….no where? I’m not saying I voted for Obama but he DID become president and he IS from Hawaii. How about you take a trip down south or a trip WAYYY up north and listen to how they talk but yet let’s pretend that Hawaii is the only place that has “uneducated sounding” people. Everyone is different, who gives a rats ass. If we were all the same imagine how MISERABLE that would be. It’s annoying to see people claim they are sooo educated yet sound like a complete MORON from the comments they say. Its people like you that create monsters and bring out the worst in people. I get it, this island is not like where you are from…..great….good thing you are only here for a short amount of time. Hard to believe you claim to hate the place so much when you’re out hiking, beaching it and leaving your post to adventure out. I’m sure you hang out with friends you claim to hate and I’m sure you root for the sports team you claim to hate as well, don’t you? Lets be real…you are just following society and what your friends say when they say “I hate it here”. How about quit being so pessimistic, put your big boy/girl pants on and make the best out of what you call “shit hole” situation. Last but not least, not ALL locals hate the military. Not ALL military hates the locals. How about stop putting yourself on a higher pedestal then the other because we are ALL FREAKING EQUAL.
