People dont understand the meaning of this song. This song was the promise in probably the best romance that I have been able to witness. Sure everyone heres about the single mother with 3 children that took a chance on a cowboy is a black hat. Little to know that this cowboy would warm his way I to her childrens hearts and become their father in a lot of ways, and for the youngest be the man that she loved more that the 180 barbies in her hall closet. And to think that he won her over with a alien doll. It has been too long without this man in my life in my world. He means everything. And this was the promise he gave to my mom Paula Duncan. A promise that he kept and Im sure is still holding strong to the love he had for her. Its a powerful thing and it has influenced my two biological older sibling to never give up on love I think... With Skylar becoming a father to two beautiful girls and a son and Shaughnessy meeting an amazing man that I am so proud to call my brother in law. I know hes always with me. I know he is know hes probably the one that influences me to write these post to remind me mom about the love that he has for her. I love you mommy. This one is from Dave.
