People have asked me who is Pastor Ray and what is United Community. We have decided to begin to provide the answers to those questions, and I will begin here with a little about who I am, in relation to the ministry. After serving my first commission as associate pastor in a Pentecostal church, and two more similar commissions, I became senior pastor at a ministry in Phoenix, Az. I also directed Christian recovery centers, designing the complete programs. I have done 5 “gang extractions” each time involving my having to receive beatings by a minimum of ten men, the last one in 2010, was by over 20 men, and was not pretty. But each of the 5 times I was able to get a young girl or boy out of the gang and back to their parents and families. Currently I am building United Community, and providing service to mu community with complete counseling services free of charge in addictions, marriage and relationships, and any and all spiritual needs. My “office” is open 24/7, in the small room I rent at someone’s house. I am asked to perform worship at different places but am keeping that minimal so I can devote the time needed for the first stages needed for United Community to grow and serve more people. I usually have to shop for my food in dumpsters the last few days of the month as I use my own resources for all expenses. With all humility, I can honestly say, there is no one providing the service I have been, and now we’re at a place where I will be asking for help to improve and grow, and do for communities with this formula that government and private sector, AND other ministries are not doing. Thank you, more later, love and light, Pastor Ray, United Community
