People in the entertainment industry are becoming more vocal and visible about getting the US to include stopping all cetacean killing and captivity in any and all dealings with Japan. Note to all those celebrities: I will add that the US has to also put a stop to its allowance of the hunting and killing of whales on its own shores by native Alaskans. They also use tradition as an excuse to continue the killings, just like Japan does. All cetaceans are non-human persons. To kill even one is an act of murder. Therefore, there is no tradition or good reason for killing people - whether the people walk on land or swim in the sea.
