People kill me with their questions about events...Like whats it about? Where does the money go? It goes to same places the money goes at the bars you pour money into goes...It goes to the same places that these establishments that are NOT community friendly that you pour money into goes...Yet these same exact people that ask these questions do not attend charity functions in their own areas...So pause with the questions just dont go...Also dont ask me general questions because you have an ulterior motive...I simply dont have time for it...If you really care about the Community you are in then listen in on my conference calls or attend these events where I am invited to speak...My phone is darn near burnt up with Community questions...I dont mind those but dont reach out cause you have an issue with someone and want a gotcha moment...I have a host of invites only speaking engagements, many of which are question and answer sessions... People genuinely want to know about the history and protocol of what they are a part of...It is very time consuming on my part and I dont get paid to do it...I share knowledge as my way of giving back...Im a teacher thats what I do...But it makes me a target for all types of things...But I still do it...I take the approach of history and tradition based on historical data...I dont get caught up if someone feels a particular thing is wrong or right...I point out the history and if it existed and if so why it was or wasnt done a certain way...Backed with supporting facts...As an example if you say Social Clubs were started because MCs wanted side pieces in other areas...I would point out the fact that there is historical data to the contrary...As one of many examples, in the 1920s There were small social clubs, such as the Snakes, a mens group, and the Moles, a womens club existed and like these many were born out of a social need brought about through segregation and a host of other reasons...Social Club have a rich history inside and out of The Community...Dont let anyone downgrade or belittle the roots of any of this...I will keep teaching...So dont waste my time with feel good questions...One Word Can Change The Course Of A Nation -Self
