People like Togadia and Muthalik are not the lunatic fringe. Nor those ministers who make regressive medieval misogynist pronouncements. They are the crystallization of an agenda whose time has come. The biggest fools today are those who voted in this government mesmerized by the PR lies and the bombastic rhetoric that promised development without questioning what manner of development it would be, where it would come from, and whom it would benefit. They are stunned today and confused. But not so the legions of those who led the wolf pack with invective and abuse, denigrating the constitution, venerable professors and historians, journalists, writers, and made the word intellectual a thing to be ashamed about - no - their silence is one of quiet satisfaction - and the anticipation of imminent destruction of this nations tradition of pluralism and religious harmony.Their work is done. Or so they think.
