People of Earth! No. Creationism has no place on the new Cosmos. At least not on equal footing. Cosmos is about science. Creationism is not science. Science is a tool that seeks to describe the world- the universe- as we observe it. Preconceptions are discouraged. New thinking is encouraged. If a better explanation comes along, the old one is ruthlessly discarded. Creationism seeks to fit the universe as we observe it_into_its idea. Preconception is all it is. New ideas are discouraged. Plus? Look at your cable lineup or spin that radio dial. How many programs are devoted to religion? To christianity? How many are devoted to science? Not pseudo scientific claptrap, but science? Cosmos IS equal time. As the host put it, and I am paraphrasing, you dont show NASA working on putting a man in orbit and then give time to the flat earth society.
