People who call energy healing hippie shit are just showing their ignorance. Energy healing is scientifically proven and it has been done for thousands of years. It works on all 3 levels of mind, body and spirit. It has healed me of much of my life pain (baggage) and assisted me in raising my self-esteem, my consciousness, and my physical health. What If Im SKEPTICAL? One of the first things that I recommend for skeptics is that they experience it for themselves. Reiki is a scientifically proven concept, and the only thing can cause it to NOT work is if the recipient is simply so closed minded and skeptical that they will not allow the energy to penetrate their aura. Closed mindedness breeds ineffectiveness when it comes to energy healing, but thats not because energy healing isnt effective. As long as the recipient is at least open minded enough to be open to the POSSIBILITY of it being effective, then it will be effective!! If you require research and scientific evidence of the benefits of Reiki (and other modalities of energy healing) I very highly recommend the following book:The Energy Healing Experiments: Science Reveals Our Natural Power to Heal which details numerous laboratory experiments, all of which conclusively prove the effectiveness of energy healing. After looking at these individual experiments as well as all of them combined, there is simply no doubting the effectiveness of energy healing. It is definitely a fully fledged scientifcally proven concept.
