David Luce The North Side park board races come down to this: Does money call the shots or do the people have a voice and a say? We are propagandized, exploited or ignored by the big money status quo and given garbage burners, metal crushers and plasticized parks by the big boys; only as a united community can we have healthy, living green parks serving all our residents and acquire access to a restored Mississippi riverbank in North Minneapolis. Northsiders are cut off from the river by freeway, obsolete multiple railroad trackage and low employment industrial zones. The negatives of I-94 need to be addressed, Duluth did it with I-35 in the heart of the city on Lake Superior, we are as deserving as the citizens of Duluth. There is much more that, with imagination and energy, can transform our community........& with collective effort.......vote Nov. 5....even if you have to get a little wet.
