People with a sweet tooth have just a few days left to buy a ticket for the chance to win a two-feet long egg that weighs 4kg in aid of charity. Barnard Castle business, Chocolate Fayre is helping to raise money for the Great North Air Ambulance Service (GNAAS) by donating the enormous egg worth around £200 in support of the cause. Husband and wife team, Kenny Walker and Sarah Wall took on Chocolate Fayre in November 2013 and decided to support the local charity at the start of the year. Mr Walker said: We chose the air ambulance as one of the charities which we would like to support because we think the service benefits everybody in the dale and it seemed to be one cause which any of us might need at any time. GNAAS volunteer, Ed Kirkham, will draw the lucky ticket winner on Friday 18th April. For the full story:
