Performers sought for Art Performance at The Pipe Factory, November 13th. I am a Glasgow-based visual artist who is looking for 4 male performers to take part in a simple, short semi-improvisatory performance (with very little preparation required) at the opening of the exhibition ‘East End Transmissions’ at the studio/gallery space the Pipe Factory in the Gallowgate, Glasgow. It simply requires you wear all black clothes and to mimic simple on-screen gestures and sounds flashed up on a screen above where I will be performing a sound piece (I’ll be ‘sampling’ and mixing tape-recorded voices). It doesn’t really require experience or a ‘good voice’, just a willingness to throw yourself into it. There will be a small fee for this performance.
