Perhaps its just me, but oil prices being the lowest since 2009 should TERRIFY THE SHIT OUT OF EVERYONE, not have people jumping for joy. You should be very closely watching the news, especially what US Mass Media is NOT telling you. Remember, 2009 was economically deadly. Some of the governments worst managed economic decisions happened in that era, creating tons of repercussions we still feel today. Dont get gleeful that a limited global resource is suddenly being sold for dirt cheap. Yes, fracking is helping, but this price drop clearly goes way beyond that. Dont allow yourself to become euphoric and doped-out on the drug of bargain basement prices. When humans become euphoric like this, we ignore greater problems that are right in front of our noses (race relations, police state, police brutality, etc) because we (falsely) think that everything is getting better on its own. Everything is not getting better on its own. Big oil simply made gas prices cheaper. Too cheap, many global economic specialists are saying. Things are brewing, and big oil is using cheap gas as a way to drug you into ignoring what is going on in the very troubled world around you. Keep your eyes open, get your news from places other than just the mass media, and think for yourself.
