Perhaps the U.S. should pull out of Chicago, this is probably the next large City headed for bankruptcy right after Detroit. Nothing will change in the Land of Lincoln where the Governors and elected officials keep heading to prison. As long as the government provides entitlements to the population, their leaders will go on winning elections until it is time to pay the piper. Chicago and Illinois will go broke before the rest of the country follows suit. We can thank Obama and his leadership for our prosperity. Chicago · In the last few months alone, 292 people were murdered despite some of the nation’s toughest gun laws. · Chicago has a 9.25% sales tax. This is the culture that our President wants to install in Washington and is upset because the Republicans don’t let him do it. · Former Governor George Ryan is now in prison, he was replaced by Rob Blajegovitch who is also in prison; Representative Jesse Jackson resigned and is headed to prison. · Chicago has one of the highest percentages of welfare recipients in the nation, there are almost as many people receiving welfare as there are people working. · The population of Chicago is 2.7 million people of which 33% is Black, 31% White, 29% Hispanic, and 7% Asian. Chicago represents 22% of the state of Illinois.
