Perhaps there should be at least minimal standards people should meet to be deserving of respect, something that should perhaps not be taken for granted no matter how someone behaves. Meaning, for example, that people like those who scream for more fascism at Tea Party rallies, who have done so much to destroy this country, and those of their moral level and ilk, dont seem to have earned my respect, but have definitely earned my contempt.
