Perseverance Of The Saints Peter fell into despair after he rejected Christ three times. Even though days before Christ warned him he would. At the same time Satan asked to sift Peter like wheat. But Jesus reassured him saying, but I have prayed for you, that your faith will not fail. Perserverence of the saints. We who persevere to the end are His. God knows who belongs to Him, but to reassure us, He allows trials, hardships, loses, and failures to show us, those who belong to Him will persevere to the end. This is the mark of a true believer. Persevering to the end no matter what comes our way. Peter failed several times. The last time was when he rejected Christ. Because He was a true follower He came back fighting even stronger than the first time. And became one of the most influential men of God till this day. I never knew why God allowed all that in my life. Through it all I persevered, even when I had no strength left. During those years I knew I belonged to Christ.
