Personal view: Hopefully photo not taken from Perkasa & Kedah billionaire ??? The photograph, which was circulated over the Internet last weekend, was actually taken at a forum at the International Institute of Islamic Thought and Civilisation (Istac) but a blogger had posted the picture and said it was taken at a church where Muslims were baptised. Zaiton said she was shocked and saddened that she was linked to the post. According to Zaiton, the picture was in fact of her and other participants seated on a wooden bench at the Istac hall on February 29, 2012, in a forum organised by the National Population and Family Development Board where the topic of discussion was the countrys national family policies. The blog post carried a picture of Zaiton, along with Womens Aid Organisation advocacy officer Yu Ren Chung and others. It implied that the pictures were taken right after Muslims were baptised in a church, with some blaming opposition parties DAP and PAS for it. Yu had previously said that checks he carried out following the posting showed that the allegations were not initially spread by blogs in Indonesia but by a blog in Kedah.
