Personally Ive been of a Pagan faith for 11-12 years now, The amount of damage and offense these idiots have done to us is huge, They havent moved on from the Dark ages and that in itself is just sad. They say the quote bad side of Wiccanism is Witchcraft. Thats not a bad side Harm none and Witchcraft is present in most, not all but most Pagan faiths including my own. Furthermore its not full of witchcraft and even if it were its not Bad. Something can not be Bad in a religion that does not believe in evil, not all Pagans and Wiccans practice Witchcraft, Wiccans are part of the Pagan religion and are not 2 separate religions rather Wicca is a branch off the Pagan tree. Guess what, You can say Merry Christmas to a Pagan and its NOT pushing your beliefs on others. Pagans are being honored by the University not used by the establishment and we only have 8 holidays (not 20, you said it yourself its only 20% of the holidays leaving 80% with other Religions). Our most sacred Holiday is not Halloween. Its not even called Halloween its called Samhain. For me personally Yule and Ostara are my most sacred Sabbats and this varies from person to person and from Coven to Coven. In other Countrys there are heaps of Pagans freely practicing in Australia and throughout Europe to name a few (that makes up the majority of countrys). Ive never played Dungeons and Dragons and so what if I had, Im sure its a great game and it has nothing to do with Paganism. Whats with the claim that there is enough Pagans and Wiccans to be represented by? If only 1 were of this faith then thats enough to honer the holidays that we call sabbats. I also noticed that the words Wiccan and Sabbat was not in my computers dictionary and the word Wiccans the spell check wanted it replaced with Anglican. This is an outrage in itself and a whole new can of under educated worms. The eight Sabbats on the wheel of year are Yule, Imbolc, Ostara, Beltane, Litha, Lammas/Lughnasadh, Mabon and Samhain. For those who celebrate Germanic would make nine, Having said that there are only 8 major holidays. youtube/watch?v=J22mI-P0a1M
