Perspective....I truly learned a lesson in this today . While at work a young mother came in to place an order . She was a small young lady & was carrying her son who looked to be about 6 years old . During our conversation her son became upset and agitated ,smacking himself in the head & growling loudly . She calmly took it in stride & told me shed be back when her order was ready . It was clear her son was autistic . After her order was ready and she came back in to pick it up I told her I was going to bring it out for her, but she cheerfully replied Oh, thats OK. Were fine . I ask her if it was alright to give her son a sucker and she told me Sure . Im not sure hell take it , it all depends on his mood and with a laugh So far today has been good I got a couple of suckers for him and when I went to hand them to him she told me Oh , hes blind , he cant see them I gave her the suckers & told how precious her son was & she took her sandwich & left. She left me in tears . This beautiful little mother & wonderful son and their unwavering love. I thought they were having a bad day & with their positive out look & love they were enjoying a good day . I know I was blessed to be a small part of it . They both touched my heart.
