Perspectives Film Festival, an annual arts event that features breakthroughs in cinema is back into its sixth year. Singapore Bangladesh Society (SBS) is partnered with the 2013 version of this festival which is scheduled to run from the 3rd to 6th of October at the National Museum of Singapore. This year, Perspectives Film Festival returns to the theme of breakthroughs in independent cinema. The Singapore premiere of critically-acclaimed Bangladeshi film, Television (2012) will be held on 03rd October as part of this festival. The director of the film Mostafa Farooki will be present during premiere and will be attending a post-screening dialogue session. Television was a festival favorite at the 2012 Busan International Film Festival and now set to compete in the Oscars under the Foreign Films category.
