Pert near didnt make in to throw you all a howdy. Mornin chores keep us busier n a horses tail in fly season so dont get round to postin anything til a bit later in the day now. Then the Internet wasnt workin. Just now came in from afternoon chores an its back on so will throw out our howdy as many of you are bout ready to turn in for the night! First off...we hit the jackpot an won 10 million dollars in the lottery! We are rich!! Okay, now to our regular news...Yesterday evenin we noticed Onoki had gone off on her own instead of joined the herd to feast on the hay wed put out....so we kept an eye on her til it grew dark. Before we headed to bed we took flashlights an went out to check...found her, but no baby so we turned in. Long about 2:13 am we the soft moo of a mama cow wafted in through our bedroom windows. Since Onoki is an old pro at havin calves we didnt feel the need to slip out to check on her so this mornin when we went out, we found a cute red baldy heifer at her side. So, heifers have taken the lead once again! Oh, an about that 10 million dollar lottery win...we may have stretched the truth a bit, well okay we fibbed.....Happy April Fools Day! But the new calf is real! ;-)
