The United States is more advanced in terms of technology and software development than Brazil, so that will allow me to increase my experience and get in touch with latest technologies. In consequence, i will be able to bring back to Brazil a different vision from the local students. That experience will give me the diferencial that i need to stand out among the software development industry and get better job opportunities. As a Software Engineering student, I aim study fields that will bring me knowledge to become the professional that the new and growing software companies seek. I am very interested in artificial intelligence, focussing mainly at multiagent systems. Currently i am a member of a research and study group where we are focused on studying the development of multi agent systems within the software engineering principles. So if given the opportunity, i will continue to research multi agent systems trying to see the diferences between what we see in Brazil and what is seen in the United States. I also like to study complex algorithms and problem solving to compete at the ACM International Collegiate Programming Contest (ICPC), which is a programming competition, sponsored by IBM. I currently participated two times in the competition, at my freshman years at college and I am also a fellow at a project that mentors students for the competition. At the United States i will get in touch with the american teams and continue to study and compete at the ICPC.
