Peter is having more surgery! Tomorrow he heads out to Lake McQuarrie private hospital where he will have yet more fluid drained from his right lung. We were planning a lovely quiet weekend at home, this was not to be. Tonight at the Marta we met with Dr Ross, the surgeon that is going to do the drain. He tells us this is important so Peter has a better lung capacity to get about when he comes home. Please pray this surgery goes well. As always that gorgeous smile and strong positive attitude was evident as Peter thanked Dr Ross as he left the room saying well I guess Ill be seeing you tomorrow mate Thank you to all our lovely friends for the love, support and well wishes, we so appreciate it. Diane Briskey and Allan Briskey visited today. Thank you for the lovely flowers and love showered upon Peter. Al, he said he was sorry for falling asleep on you, the radiation makes him do that. Thankyou to Jac Smith for keeping our house beautiful as only you can do....and Sean today for cleaning out the Chook Cages so Peter can spend time with his birds when he comes home, To Kathy Coulthard and Bruce for all the work you have put into the yard and gardens with Keren Linton. Kim Dickinson for your never ending tireless work in the barn and with the horses and Keren for all your doing and the feed run. To Greg Flynn, Peter is so proud of you and everything you have achieved with TuffRock, now you are forever generous with your time to do his jobs, you have the property looking amazing for his return home which should be Wednesday. To Peter Oldham thanks for the mowing. Danny Jackson thank you for the jobs you did on Saturday. Mel Cruden the photos from the weekend are precious memories to be cherished forever. To everyone else that Ive surely forgotten in my tired state, Thank you. Please pray that the surgery is successful and Peter can be home soon.
