Phase - 1 plans for PPA center a. Review of Present state of Pharmacy profession in the country by think tanks, planning and concrete steps for the betterment of the profession. b. Review and redrafting of the Pharmacy Act. c. Evidence and Problem based learning environment establishment in consultation with all the academic sectors. d. Review of curriculum. e. Inclusion of Practical training hours and proper career counseling in the curriculum specially in industry, hospital,community,sales and marketing. f. Working and planning by innovation and holistically for the Pharmacists in all sectors like Academia, Industries, Community Pharmacies etc g. Planning for the setup of model and community pharmacy setups. h. Taking solid steps for the patient oriented Pharmacy practice by having international collaborations and arrangement of trainings for all the pharmacists for their professional grooming. i. Arrangement of proper internship plans for all the fresh pharmacists as per need and desire. j. To arrange Job fairs / career expo at least twice a year. k. Career counseling for all the young pharmacists. l. Improve the Pharmacy council structure.
