Phase 2 of A/V upgrade It is testament to the original 2000C that the new i suffix centre initially appeared to be similar in sound, with only a noticeable improvement to the high frequency response to distinguish between the two. But now that it has well and truly bedded in, the dynamics are really coming to the fore. Its ability to reproduce the leading edge of hugely dynamic sounds - such as gunshots and explosions - is mightily impressive for its price bracket. Sure, it isnt going to beat B&W or KEF, but they are far more expensive offerings. The critical component for Phase 2.5 has just arrived in the post. This Audioquest Type 6+ speaker cable - with its 8 solid cores in various AWG - is going to make the 2020i FL & FR speakers sing in glorious bi-amp loveliness. Dont expect to hear much from me this weekend. ;)
