Phata Poster Nikhla Hero Has Good Start in India Phata Poster Nikhla Hero had a good start at around 40-50%. The collections were good at places and decent at other places. The best opening for Phata Poster Nikhla Hero was in UP, CI and Rajasthan with multiplexes in Punjab and West Bengal taking an ordinary start. The film is no doubt the biggest opening of Shahid Kapoor whose films that have done well have mainly done so on word of mouth after a slow or mid level start. Phata Poster Nikhla Hero also does not have the screenings that it should at metro multiplexes with Grand Masti providing competition and Lunchbox getting a plenty of screen time (6 shows on average) in the metros for a film of its type.
