Phew! Jury duty complete. Painless in retrospect though the prospect of being on duty for a month plus trial was terrifying. Was also edifying to learn in the juror education how unique jury trials are to America. Given that Magna Carta thing in 1215, the roots of American jurisprudence in English common law, widespread use of juries throughout common law nations for criminal trials and so forth. We citizens are learned something real good every day!
