Philippians 4:8 NKJV Finally, brethren, whatever things are true, whatever things are noble, whatever things are just, whatever things are pure, whatever things are lovely, whatever things are of good report, if there is any virtue and if there is anything praiseworthy—meditate on these things. Psalms 37:4 NKJV Delight yourself also in the Lord , And He shall give you the desires of your heart. These two scripture seem to fit together well to me. When we look at our thoughts are they true, noble, just, pure, lovely,of good report, praiseworthy. What we let into our minds our thoughts will grow and develop. What we let dwell in our minds will grow in our hearts. The desires of our hearts will eventually determine who and what we are. God designed us to be like Him with a clean, pure heart and mind. Let Him and His goodness consume out hearts and minds. He brings such peace and joy when we meditate on Him and Let Him be our hearts desire. GOD IS GOOD - ALL THE TIME
