Philippines for U.S. Statehood! ..I stood the grounds that with the coming of Atomic Age, the agenda of Abolition of War. The U.S. policy of Peace Promotion stays and the agenda to restore and annex the Philippines as a U.S. Territory dis spelled in the Treaty of Paris must remain. This is so in view of the many rationales, to wit: 1. The Philippines remain and must remain a Territory of the United States since America won the Spanish - American War in 1898, during The Debacle in Manila Bay: May 1, 1898. 2. The Treaty of Paris so dis spelled that the Philippines was annexed as U.S. Territory. 3. The Lobbyist group that influenced the enactment of Tydings-McDuffie Act of 1934 was ill conceived and failed. 4. The Spirit of Tydings-McDuffie Act of 1934 did not fulfill the ten year transition of self governance training for the Filipinos due to the outbreak of World War II. 5. The raising of the RP Flag for Independence on July 4, 1946 was pre mature and staged that left the Philippines in a complete war torn spoiled condition: Economics Bankrupt; Roads and Buildings damaged, Bridges broken, Houses and Shelter dwellings demolished totally, The Philippines was struggling, The Little Brown Brothers and Sisters of now 108 millions in numbers were left deserted, neglected, isolated behind the nick of times. 6. The U.S. Trained Leader passed away in Saranak Lake, New York. 7. The Philippines left to struggle and got corrupted to survive, instead. 8. The Strategic Security Importance of U.S. and democracy were compromised and did not fulfill the requirements of Tydings McDuffie Act of 1934. 9. The buffer from The Communist Block nations were exposed and allowed to make America vulnerable to such threats. 10. China looms ahead preparing for war and mustering their arsenals to colonize the region. 11. Hundred Thousands of Filipinos are going overseas to help alleviate the deteriorating economic conditions of the country. 12. The morale and social obligations of America to feed and take care of those little brown Filipino brothers and sisters were left behind. 13. The opportunity to work together in union with those who gave their lives and souls in war and in peace were not considered. 14. The vital strategic and security importance of the Philippines were to good to be abandoned. 15. Democracy will fail in the region; and the threat of communism will continue to thrive and proliferate like a social cancer that will metastasize demographically, geographically, economically, and politically. 16. The Constitution of Japan that America tailored for peace, will be compromised, as the tolerance to allow Japan build their arsenals and army and navy to counter Chinas threat in the region would escalate the globe into a higher tension to compromise threat of terrorism and peace in the region. 17. The invaluable contributions of the Manpower Skills and Natural Resources that abound the Territorial State would be mega assets plus to the United States and the world. 18. The roads to World Peace will be a lot smoother, a lot stable, and of powerful pathways! 19. Many a great island intellectuals can be harnessed and nurtured to the further growth and greatness of America: We can skim the crops for further growth of harvests and green pasteurs in the Pearl of The Orient Seas. 20. The geographic gateway and windows to the other half of the globe lie within the proximity of our spheres. 21. Many other pros than cons can be realized as thousand of Filipinos lined up the long line to economic freedom and greater opportunities. I HOLD THIS TRUTH TO BE SELF EVIDENT. ..I would rather chuse a government run like heavens by the Americans; than a government run like hell by the Filipinos!
