Philippines, the country of my birth and until my death, no matter what ... Ill be home fior Christmas, is my response to relatives and friends asking me if Ill be staying in America for good as I seem to enjoy my vacation here. True, America is indeed a very enticing place to stay. With a clean environment, healthy, nutritious and affordable food and basic needs, many job opportunities especially for professionals and skilled workers, freedom enjoyed and human rights protected, a credible justice system, a participative democratic government and a mature and vigilant citizenry etc etc. Who would not be attracted to this kind of an environment in a Country as a HOME? Anytime if I want to, my daughter and Son, are ready to petition me to live here for good. Deep in my heart though, is a loud cry to stay and serve my beloved Country, the Philippines, no matter what it may take me. Other than this is the Countty of my birth, which gave me life, I had shed much tears, sweat and blood in serving my Motherland and our Filipino people as a PUBLIC SERVANT in a Civilian and Military capacity and as a CONCERNED Filipino CITIZEN. No matter what the hardship, difficulties, tests and challenges I am and will be facing, my country is always worth serving and dying for. America will always be my second home but, my FIRST LOVE will always be the land of my birth where I am dedicating my life, my talents and capacities until my last breath... PHILIPPINES, my Motherland, the land of my Birth and until my Death, I SHALL RETURN..
